On Wednesday April 9th The Forum will be transformed into a cultural hotspot thanks to the Pakistan Society's latest party, which promises to be a night full of music, dancing and colour.

We chatted to PakSoc Secretary Fizza Ali (left) about what's in store.

1. What can students expect to enjoy at PakSoc's Cultural Night?

A variety of cultural dance performances from professional students who dance by passion. Students will be able to experience dances from different cultures across the globe including a mix of, Kattak, Tamil, Hip-Hop, Desi, Attan and much more.

2. How did the idea for the event come about?

We wanted to do a large scale event that would appeal to a wider audience at Middlesex also a chance for students to show off their dancing talents!

3. The event is raising money for a great charity – tell us a bit about the work they do

The aim of all Pakistan Society events is to raise money for charity this year we are carrying on raising money for Dar-Ul-Sukun who support children in Pakistan who suffer from mental and physical problems these children are usually ignored and so we want to help raise awareness.

4. The dress code is cultural/traditional/smart – any style tips for students planning to attend?

We want our guests to dress in their national dress code - we want to see lots of colours!

5. What’s the next big event in the PakSoc calendar?

The Qawali night (Poetry) after the Easter holidays and a big end of year Paint-Balling Trip.
