The first ever Creative Careers Fair is less than one week away!

The event will take place in the Quad on Tuesday 12th April and give students the chance to meet future employers, listen to the experiences of professional individuals and speak to a range of companies within the creative industries - all right on your doorstep.

The Creative Careers Fair will feature a range of organisations and institutions who have set aside their day to come and talk to you and tell you more about their jobs and internships, including Masterclass, MDX Postgraduate Study, the Mousetrap Theatre, IBM Design and Create Space London. Click here for the full list of exhibitors.

There will also be panel talks with the Fashion Retail Academy, Rocket Network and White Light, giving you the chance to quiz industry professionals on their roles and how they got there.

White Light are a production solution specialist for events, theatre, festival and broadcast; the Fashion Retail Academy was founded in 2005 and now provides placements and master classes to over 130 brands; while Rocket Network are an award winning communications agency based in London, who deliver the vision for some of Britain’s most dynamic brands and businesses.

As well as a chance to meet potential employers, the Creative Careers Fair will include various free, employability-boosting workshops from the Middlesex University Employability team, including sessions on portfolio building, interview skills and becoming self-employed. The fair is completely free and open to all students, whether you study within the schools of Art & Design and Media & Performing Arts, or are simply interested in finding out more about a career within a creative role or industry.
