MDXSU is delighted that the Fairtrade Foundation has granted Middlesex University official Fairtrade University status. 

Universities, schools and colleges can achieve Fairtrade status by showcasing their commitment to supporting Fairtrade. This includes ensuring that as many Fairtrade products as possible - including food and clothing - are widely available on campus.

To achieve Fairtrade University status, awarded to MDX on Friday 7th April, Middlesex University had to demonstrate its committment to goals set out by the Fairtrade Foundation. These goals included both the university and students' union adopting Fairtrade policies, and Fairtrade coffee, chocolate and clothing being readily available in campus retails outlets.

We're so pleased that our work as a Students' Union - such as our comprehensive range of Fairtrade Middlesex University merchandise, last month's Ethical Careers Fair and our other Green Impact work - has helped MDX to achieve this status.
