Lib group article

Voting has closed, and we can now announce who will be leading your Liberation groups for 2016/17.

MDXSU's Liberations groups represent students who are often under-represented or face discrimination within education and in wider Society.

The four groups at MDXSU are for women students, LGBT+ students, black students (of African, Caribbean, Arab, Asian heritage), and disabled students.

At the start of the year, all students within those Liberation groups are invited to vote for Liberation Leaders - students they want to lead their events and campaigns for the coming year.

Polling closed on Sunday 23rd October, and we can now announce the winning students who will be leading on Liberation campaigns and events in 2016/17.

Congratulations to all those who were elected - and to those who just missed out. We can't wait to see what you and your members will achieve this year!
