Nominations are now open for the 2015 MDXSU Teaching Awards!

Has someone at Middlesex inspired you? Then nominate them for an MDXSU Teaching Award.

Nominations open today for our second ever MDXSU Teaching Awards. Building on the success of last year, we want you to tell us about the teachers and staff that have shaped your time at Middlesex. You can make sure that people who work hard for students get the recognition that they deserve, with last year’s awards receiving over 1,000 total nominations for 300 amazing members of staff. The Awards ceremony was held in the Quad, and attended by the shortlisted staff and the students that nominated them.

"I thoroughly enjoyed being at the MDXSU Teaching awards last year and being a participant at the awards was a lovely experience. I think the concept and idea of doing this kind of awards is great as it shows us how much we are appreciated by the students."

          - Manika Choudhury, Shortlisted for Best Non-Teaching Staff 2014

The five categories up for nomination are Most Inspiring Teacher, Best Feedback, Most Innovative Teaching, Best Support Staff, Most Empowering Teacher. Click here to read more about the categories and what we are looking for in your nomination.

You can nominate as many people as you want in as many categories as you choose. The nominees will be judged on the quality of the nominations – so make sure you tell us in as much detail as possible why you are nominating someone. The nominations will be looked at by a panel of students and elected MDXSU officers, and will then be shortlisted to 5 people per category - and if the person you nominated is shortlisted you'll be invited to come with them to the awards!
