The National Student Survey (NSS) has kicked off with a bang at Middlesex today. Between today and February 12th, Middlesex University will be a hive of NSS activity, and it’s not just the survey you’ll be able to complete. The campus will be home to interactive Tetris and Lego installations with a whole host of characters to meet, as well as games, challenges and competitions.

So what’s it all about? The National Student Survey allows final year students to feed back on their university experience, with over 3,000 Middlesex students eligible to take part. The independent, anonymous survey is conducted by the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFC), and is completed by students at universities across the UK. The survey takes minutes to complete, and lets your University and Students’ Union know what they’re doing well, and where they can improve.

Unless you're in your final year you won't be able to complete the survey, but you’re still welcome to join in with the activities. Visit the Tetris-inspired lounge in the Quad, and add your own personalised brick to the LEGO sculpture. Make art sculptures created by renowned geometric artist George Hart, enter the bucket list competition, and win prizes, including iPods and graduation tickets.
