What are your biggest strengths? What are you proud of about yourself?

Are you determined, caring, imaginative, brave, a carer, a fixer?

We asked some of Middlesex's amazing students what makes them Somebody, and this is what they had to say.

Watch the video below, or click here to view in a new window.

Whatever your skills and experience, whatever you're proud of, it's time to put it to good use. Embrace your strengths and show what you're capable of this year - stand, vote and make change in the MDXSU Elections!

Students just like you - the creative, the campaigners, the problem-solvers, the people who care - are currently putting themselves forward as next year's leaders of your Students' Union, where they will have the opportunity to represent students at Middlesex and campaign on issue they care about.

Whether you're looking for a full-time paid position making real change at MDX and beyond, or a part-time position helping decide the direction of MDXSU, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. MDXSU will give you all the guidance and help you need to stand for a position and campaign for votes, including mentoring support and free training workshops.

If you're interested in nominating yourself for a position, you'll need to fill in the online nomination form by Friday 19th February at the latest. You will then have until Wednesday 24th February to submit your manifestos stating what you'd like to achieve if elected and why people should vote for you.

Click here to find out more about the election, here to see what positions are open for nomination, and click here for a list of FAQs! If you have any other questions, send us an email at studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk or drop into the MDXSU office any weekday 2-4pm until Wednesday 24th February. You can find us downstairs in MDX House.
