Black History Month Film Screening

As voted by Black students at our Welcome Meet and Greet we will be showing Kidulthood (2006), a film showing a day in the life of a group of troubled 15-year-olds growing up in west London. The film deals with being young, black and poor in Britain, exploring friendship, violence, romance and crime.

For Black Histroy Month we are hosting a weekly events with our Black Students Liberation Group and Afro-Carribean Society (ACS) to celebrate black British culture and explore our experiences.

Wednesday 18th October 6pm Open Mic Night on Black History Month

Thursday 19th October - Flagnation

Wednesday 25th - Intersectionality Meet and Greet Games Evening – event to build collaboration between all Liberation Groups 

Thursday 26th - Middlesex University Race Religion & Beliefs Staff Forum `Black History Month` event “Talking across Different identity bridges” - A Faith, Religion & Beliefs perspective, 4-7pm, C211
