Are you thinking about voting but not entirely sure who to vote for?
Or if it will make a difference?
Well, we have four reasons WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE in the MDXSU Elections.
1. Have Your Say
Those elected will represent you and every student at Middlesex, so it's important that you vote for candidates whom share similar IDEAS FOR CHANGE.
Vote to have your say and help lead the improvement of your student experience both on & off campus
2. The Power To Make Change
Your candidates manifestos outline who they are and what they want to achieve if elected - whether that's improvements to university services or wider campaigns beyond campus.
Their decision have the power to make change so it’s important you know who and what you’re voting for.
You can read them below!
3. You Pay Your Full-Time Officers!
Well not really, but your officers are paid by Middlesex Students’ Union which is funded by Middlesex University. YOUR Tuition Fees fund the university so in a roundabout way your money is contributing to the development of the university.
So put those funds to good use and vote for the candidate you want to see make change to your student experience.
4. Your Vote REALLY Does Count.
Often there is a misconception that a single vote won’t make a difference. During the 2015 elections, the Vice President, Health & Education and Science & Technology, won by just ONE VOTE. Your vote really does make a difference.
