Over 600 people celebrated the start of summer at our third annual end-of-year event on Wednesday 16th May

Some of this year's Summer Shutdown highlights included the ferris wheel and the three-channel silent disco in a huge inflatable igloo, not to mention our roaming glitter patrol!

The night began with live music on the terrace from Helen Rupp, Zachary Aghaizu, Erica Ramos, Lucy Calcines and student bands Castle Hotel and the Flitz, alongside DJs until 3am in the main room: Khaleel Johnson, Zachary Aghaizu, Yasser (Asian Network, 1Xtra) and DJ DNA.

Guests could also make the most of the Summer Shutdown food court, serving up kebab and falafel from the Berlin Doner, curries and wraps from Gupta's Bombay Street Food, and churros from La Flamenca.
