Hi everyone!
I have had a wonderful time this fortnight getting involved in all the Stressed Out Students activity! The S.O.S campaign has already delivered a huge variety of activities to remind you to balance your time in a better way, so you can still do the activities that you love while you’re studying.
We have run Mental Health First Aid training, Chair Yoga classes and Mindfulness sessions to help you take a break, recharge and look after yourself this January. It’s been so fun to meet so many of you and chat about how the Students’ Union can have a positive effect on your wellbeing!
Whether you’re still stressed with exams and deadlines and need to take a break, or you’re looking for a way to celebrate finishing your exams, we still have FOUR big events on this week for you.
THURSDAY 25th JANUARY

WHAT: Nutrition Workshop | WHERE: W158 | WHEN: 3pm - 4pm
Making food choices shouldn’t be stressful, and we can think about how to reduce stress and anxiety in relation food, exercise and self-care. This session, run by a professional nutritionist, will help you to think about making cheap, quick, easy and accessible food choices which can give you energy and boost your mood. We will also look at how you can use food to manage hangovers more effectively, and there’ll be free snacks to try!
