Black Students

Welcome to the Black Students page!

There are four MDXSU Liberation Groups, concentrating on the rights of students who face discrimination and are often underrepresented and disadvantaged during their time at University, either in their education or in wider society.

The MDXSU Black Students group aims to represent and make changes for students of African, Arab, Asian or Caribbean heritage both within Middlesex University and nationally.

Over the past year the Assembly has worked hard to influence Students’ Union policy, as well as contributing to discussions on a national level. They have worked on the #RefugeesWelcome campaign and a lobbying campaign to ensure that MDXSU takes a stance against the Government’s PREVENT agenda.

You can join the group online hereIf you have any questions then please contact BlackStudents@mdx.ac.uk
