Freewheelers is a free, on-campus cycle hire scheme by MDXSU and Middlesex University which launched in January 2017. The idea was suggested by a student, and was then worked on by our Executive Committee in partnership with the university.
A recent study showed that any journey less than 8 miles in London is quicker and easier to do by bicycle. At Middlesex a lot of you live in the local area, either in private housing in Hendon or in halls of residence, and cycling as a great way to get into University. As well as this, it also helps you in the following ways:

The bicycles will be provided with lights and locks, but you will be expected to bring your own helmet before hiring a bike.
