Student Leaders Residential

The MDXSU Student Leaders Residential is an free, annual trip organised by Middlesex Students' Union.

The free, two-night residential gives students the chance to find out more about their Students' Union, develop their leadership skills, get involved in campaigns, meet new people and try new things.

The agenda is full of empowering workshops, teambuilding activities and outdoor challenges in a chilled countryside setting, with plenty of time for socialising (and campfires!) in the evenings too.

The MDXSU Student Leaders Residential 2016 took place between Wednesday 7th and Friday 9th September at Gilwell Park, on the edge of the Epping Forest in Essex.

Students with leadership positions on campus - whether they're on a Society committee, planning to stand to be a Student Voice Leader for their course, or part of POW! Media - are encouraged to attend the residential, though all students with an interest in their Students' Union and our opportunities are welcome also.

You're guaranteed to leave newly inspired, with new friends, and new skills to help you make the most of your time at university and in the world beyond.
