Middlesex Students' Union are the official sellers of Middlesex University merchandise, with all proceeds being reinvested into MDXSU services, events and opportunities for students.

We offer a range of clothing, gift items and stationery to suit all tastes and budgets, from t-shirts and hoodies, to pens and teddy bears.

We are also proud to offer a range of ethically-sourced, fairtrade MDX hoodies and t-shirts. Production of these items is closely monitored throughout the supply chain and manufacturing, ensuring decent working conditions, fair prices and local sustainability.

In June, our fairtrade supplier advised us that they would be increasing costs in order to ensure the continuation of this range. This means that for the first time since the range was introduced in 2015, we will need to increase the prices of our fairtrade hoodies and t-shirts for our customers. This is not something we wanted to do, though we feel strongly that we should continue to stock these ethical items.

The new prices of our fairtrade products will be as follows:

• Fairtrade t-shirts: £12 from Monday 8 July 2019 (current price - £11)
• Fairtrade hoodies: £28 from Monday 8 July 2019 (current price - £24)
• Fairtrade zip hoodies: £30 from September 2019 (current price -  £26)

This price increase will not affect the rest of our merchandise range - other styles are available from £8 for t-shirts, £12 for sweaters and £15 for hoodies.

You will be able to shop remaining fairtrade t-shirts and hoodies at the current prices until Sunday 7 July for online purchases, or until Friday 5 July at the MDXSU Welcome Desk.
