Middlesex Teaching Excellence Awards 2024: The Shortlist

The University is excited to share the Middlesex Teaching Excellence Awards 2024 shortlists for Academic, Technical and Professional Services teams and colleagues across our three global campuses. These impressive shortlists reflect our colleagues’ outstanding contributions to the learning and teaching environment, student experience and student outcomes. 
 
We will announce the winners and highly commended nominees on Thursday 18 April at the 'Celebrating Teaching Excellence Awards' event on our Hendon campus, which will run alongside the MDXSU Student-Led Teaching Awards. We will then also host local ceremonies to celebrate with shortlisted colleagues in Dubai and Mauritius. 
 
The Awards shortlists are: 
 
Excellence in Design
Recognising outstanding design for learning, positioning Middlesex as a University of choice.

  • Interior Architecture and Interior Design teams, Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries – London campus  
  • MA Social Work Practice (Think Ahead), Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education – London campus 
  • MBA Design Team and SLO Department, Faculty of Business and Law – London and Dubai campuses  
  • Sameer Kishore, Science and Technology – Dubai campus.  
 
Excellence in Delivery
Recognising an outstanding approach to teaching and/or support of learning, adding value to our diverse student body. 
 
  • Centre for Academic Success (CAS), Professional Services – Dubai campus 
  • Digital Media and Communications Team, Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries – London and Dubai campuses    
  • MDXworks, Library Student Support - Employability – London campus 
  • Nivede Issur, Science and Technology – Mauritius campus
