It was a very close election, with all candidates working hard to get their votes in in just 3 days!

15 students from across MDX stood to represent you at next years’ NUS National Conference, where other NUS Delegates from across the country decide on policies that affect you and the other 7 million students in the UK. These motions have genuine impact on your education as well as electing NUS officers.

At MDXSU, we send 5 Delegates to National Conference to be the voice for all MDX students – with interest from so many people,  it was great to see so many students campaigning to represent Middlesex students.

The NUS Delegates 2017/18 are:

1. Rahma Ali (Women’s place)

2. Ayah Benberna (Women’s place)

3. Suad Abdi (Open place)

4. Ben Edwards (Open place)

5. Anas Badar (Open place)

Congratulations to these students, and good luck in representing MDX on the national stage.

Thank you to other candidates whom ambition did not go unnoticed and only fell short of being elected. They will continue to be involved with MDXSU to improve the lives on students on campus.
