My Manifesto Aims
Make students powerful
- By campaigning on national issues that affect MDX, including student rights, housing and transport
- By campaigning on human rights and social justice
- By introducing a regular officer roadshow so you know what decisions are being made
Give students what they need to survive and succeed
- By increasing the number of student and grad jobs at MDX
- By launching an essential needs centre
- By improving access to funding for student hardship and employability opportunities
Make University and Union services work for students
- By introducing cultural competency training for staff in student-facing roles
- By improving awareness and access to mental health support and reducing response times to key services
- By improving student communication and signposting to support you proactively when things go wrong
