More HALAL options on campus !!

OFFICIAL RESPONSE: The Estates team acknowledged the request and confirmed that the university is working on improving the availability and variety of halal-certified meals. Though not able to commit to a specific timeline, the Estates team confirmed a continued commitment to exploring additional Halal food provisions. Currently, the University is working on a proposal to change the subway outlet to include Halal chicken.
As a diverse and inclusive campus, Middlesex University should cater to the dietary needs of all students. Currently, halal food options on campus are quite limited, leaving many students with restricted choices. MDX House - one of the main food and social spots on campus - only offers one halal option (only chicken in Tortilla). Increasing the availability of halal meals will promote inclusivity, ensure equal access to food, and better reflect the multicultural community at Middlesex.
