For several years the student population has been telling MDXSU that one of there top priorities is the price and quality of food on campus, in the MDXSU survey last year it was clearly the top priority for students when asked what about being a student at Middlesex they wanted MDXSU to improve.

Today we are delighted to welcome the news that a range offering better value for students will soon be available in the Forum.

The new 'Quids counter' will allow students to choose from a range of value products alongside what is currently available.

The student union president Sayed said

"During my election campaign I spoke to Middlesex students and the issue which came up time after time was the price and quality of food on campus. Since the day I got elected I made this issue my top priority. This is because I understood, as a student from non privileged background, the hard choices students have to make whilst on campus because competing demands on the pounds in their pocket. I am delighted that following weeks of meetings we are able to welcome the introduction of a new value priced food range on campus. Although we know that there is still work to do in improving the variety and quality of the food offering this is definitely a step in the right direction."
