The second ever issue of POW! magazine - and the first of 2015/16 - is now available across campus.

The Freshers' special follows the first ever redesigned issue of POW! which was released in the final term of last year, and was nominated for an Student Publications Award.

This new edition features a range of student-written articles, with the first part of the issue focusing on the new year and new term, with tips on living in London for newbies to the city, and international students recounting their first experiences of Middlesex and the UK.

The rest of the magazine is packed with articles on a variety of topics: fashion, travel, events, beauty and film, plus feature opinion pieces on issues such as the tampon tax and cultural appropriation.

POW! Magazine is just one part of Middlesex's student media, alongside your TV station, online blogs and POW! FM. All platforms are supported and funded by the Students' Union, though are independently lead and managed by students.
