Summer Shutdown is the biggest event in the Middlesex calendar, and we've got headliners to match...

The end-of-year party on Wednesday 17th May will transform campus into a 1,200 capacity festival, featuring food stands, a fairground ride and much more still to be announced.

The main stage inside MDX House will host our two incredible Summer Shutdown headliners, supported by Yasser (BBC Asian Network, 1Extra) and student DJs on the decks.

You’ll recognise the first multi-award winning name on our lineup from his Saturday night soundtrack slots on Radio 1 and 1Xtra, or maybe from one of his clubnights or festival gigs – including Hideout, Creamfields and SW4 later this summer.

MistaJam is a veteran of the scene, and with one foot in the underground and one in the mainstream, will be bringing the best music from all genres to campus in May.

Joining MistaJam on the lineup is South London MC Nadia Rose, whose self-branded mix of ‘bassy, hard-hitting, dancehall, hip-hop infused fun’ saw her win a MOBO Award in November 2016 after a string of festival slots last summer, before being named in the BBC Music’s Sound of 2017 list earlier this year.

Tickets for Summer Shutdown are online now from £15 – click here to buy.
