Congratulations to MDXSU Vice President Orla Hillary, who has been shortlisted for a national award by the Student Nursing Times.
The Student Nursing Times Awards celebrate the very best in student nursing and nurse education, and Orla is one of just twelve nurses from across the UK to be shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs award.
Orla studied Adult Nursing at Middlesex University, and currently works part-time at Whittington Health alongside her elected role as Vice President Health & Education and Science & Technology at Middlesex Students' Union.
The Outstanding Contribution to Student Affairs award recognises those who have made an exceptional contribution to student affairs during their time at university, playing a key role in improving the curriculum, facilities, rules and regulations, and in enhancing the experience of fellow student nurses.
