MDXSU Elections 2020: The Candidates

Tuesday 03-03-2020 - 16:29

MDXSU are excited to announce the students who are standing for leadership positions in this year's MDXSU Elections.

The students below have put themselves forward to lead your Students' Union from July 2020, and it's down to you to decide who gets elected. Last year over 2,500 voted and made your voice heard!

Leadership roles include the full-time President and Vice Presidents, who work to represent students and lead the work of MDXSU, and receive a salary of £24,000. You will also decide which two students will join our Trustee Board - a group of officers, external experts and students who oversee the work, finance and strategic decisions of your Students' Union. If you’re a member of a Student Group, you will also be able to have your say on the group’s leadership for next year.

Find out more about our full-time officer candidates and what they want to achieve if elected at Candidate Question Time at 5:30pm on Thursday 12 March in the Quad.

Voting opens at 10am Friday 13 March and closes at 4pm Thursday 19 March. You can vote online at mdxsu.com/vote or at one of our polling stations across campus, and should vote for your favourite candidates in order of preference.
