The MDXSU Awards are our way of celebrating the amazing students at Middlesex, and recognising their impact and achievements over the past academic year.

Students and staff submitted over 250 nominations across the seven award categories - click here to see the final shortlist! You can find out more about each of the awards below.

This year's MDXSU Awards ceremony took place on Thursday 2 May at Proud Embankment, and was hosted by MDXSU Vice Presidents Lucy Holland and Erica Ramos. Alongside the drinks reception, guests were treated to a three-course meal and the all-important results. MDXSU's impact and achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and passion of the students who work and volunteer with us, such as the amazing students shortlisted for these awards, and hundreds more. Thank you to all the winners, nominees and the many other students for giving us so much to celebrate this year.

  • Organising an event or activity for groups who face oppression or discrimination (such as our liberation groups: BAME students, LGBT+ students, disabled students, women students)
  • Having a positive influence on the local community – such as volunteering, fundraising, campaigning or supporting local organisations (such as through a Community Placement)

The above list is not extensive and we would love to hear about all inclusionary work or activity that has taken place!
