Your platform to make change happen
Union Council is the platform for any Middlesex University student to voice their concerns, hold the elected officers to account and vote on any ideas that make your time at university the best it can be! Students' views are at the centre of everything we do, so we want to make sure every student has the opportunity to make change within their Students' Union and their university experience.
During Union Council, members present can:
→ Give updates and feedback about the things they are working on
→ Discuss, organise, and support campaigns, events, projects and ideas
→ Debate idea proposals and vote on whether to approve them to become the political policy of the union
Any Middlesex student can attend and submit an idea to Union Council and voice their concerns. All students who attend are eligible to vote.
Submit your ideas for change and have them discussed at the next Union Council meeting.

Book your ticket hereGot an idea to improve your time at uni? Submit your idea online, and if it receives 30 or more votes, it will be discussed at Union Council. If it is passed by 80% of council members, or passes as part of a referendum (an all-student vote), your idea will become MDXSU policy for us to work on implementing.
