Research Intern - Decolonising the Curriculum Campaign

This role is part-time, fixed term until 31st May 2021 and will be based in our Advocacy & Policy Team, helping us to effectively support our students and ensure they are properly represented throughout their University experience. 

We are looking for a highly organised and passionate student who is commited to supporting our work to improve the diversity within Learning & Teaching at Middlesex University. The successful candidate will have proven experience in research skills and methods, and will work closely with our Student Officers, MDXSU staff and student groups to design and develop research into the current diversity of curricula across different courses. We particularly encourage applications from black candidates as they are currently underrepresented at MDXSU.

Hours: 10 hours a week

Salary: London Living Wage of £10.75 per hour

Accountable to: Student Engagement Coordinator (Democracy & Campaigns)

Research Intern - Black Students' Experience

This role is part-time, fixed term until 31st May 2021 and will be based in our Advocacy & Policy Team, helping us to effectively support our students and ensure they are properly represented throughout their University experience.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in research skills and methods, who will design and develop research into the various aspects of Black Students' experience, working closely with our Black Students Liberation group and other black student groups. Student Groups Intern

This role is part-time, fixed term until 31st May 2021 and will be based in our Communities & Development Team, helping us to develop and support our diverse student communities.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate student to work with us to support our diverse range of societies and liberation groups to support the day to day running of the groups, promote student group activities and increase overall student engagement.

Hours: 14 hours a week

Salary: London Living Wage of £10.75 per hour

Student Communities Intern

This role is part-time, fixed term until 31st May 2021 and will be based in our Communities & Development Team, helping us to develop and support our diverse student communities.

The successful candidate will work with our Student Communities Development Coordinator to support our seven student communities. To support our work, we are looking for a passionate student to work with us to build links with our student communities, conduct quality conversations with students of circumstance in order to understand their experiences and support research so MDXSU can gain a better understanding of the needs of each community. We are particularly keen to encourage applications from students who self-define into one of the seven communities. 

Hours: 7 hours a week

Salary: London Living Wage of £10.75 per hour

Accountable to: Student Communities Development Coordinator

We are looking for a talented and creative student who has experience of writing articles and creating social media content. The successful candidate will work closely with our Communications & Income Team to drive participation through written and digital content - promoting events, projects and the Students' Union as a whole. 

Hours: 7 hours a week

Salary: London Living Wage of £10.75 per hour

Accountable to: Communications Coordinator

The successful candidate will work closely with our Communications & Income Team to drive participation through visual content - promoting specific projects and the Students' Union as a whole.
