Women Students

Welcome to the Women Students page!

There are four MDXSU Liberation Groups, concentrating on the rights of students who face discrimination and are often underrepresented and disadvantaged during their time at University, either in their education or in wider society.

The MDXSU Women’s group is an autonomous student-led community which works to represent and campaign for change for women both on campus and nationally. Any student that self-identifies as a woman can join the group and help shape the work that we do.

Our group provides a safe space to talk about campaigns and projects that seek to create both institutional and national change. Over the past year the MDXSU Women’s group have worked on a variety of campaigns, including: Call It Out, Tackling Lad Culture and #MDXLoveYourself, a body positive project.

You can join the group hereIf you have any questions about the group then please contact WomenStudents@mdx.ac.uk
