Last week you had the chance to ask the MDXSU Elections candidates your questions about MDX and what you want to see improved...

Next week, you will be able to ask those questions to the Vice-Chancellor of Middlesex University, Tim Blackman!

As part of my job as your Vice President, I attend fortnightly meetings with the Vice-Chancellor, who is essentially the Chief Exec of Middlesex University. At these meetings, I bring up all your questions and the issues that you are facing, but unfortunately it's difficult to go back to every single student at MDX to let them know exactly what was discussed.

That’s why I decided to challenge the Vice Chancellor to answer your questions live on Facebook from 2.30pm on Monday 19 March, so that you can come to my meeting with me!

As well as getting to watch and comment live, you also have the chance to submit questions too - simply comment on my post on Facebook by 6pm Wednesday 14 March, or email me by the same deadline at r.marques@mdx.ac.uk

You can ask questions about:

  • Employability - e.g. placement, graduate opportunities, support
  • Accommodation - e.g. housing, availability of halls, safety, facilities
  • Student wellbeing - e.g. mental health, counselling services,  disabilities, sexual harassment, security
  •  Academics - e.g. timetable, assessment, feedback loops, deadlines
  • Facilities - e.g. library, sports venue, Allianz Park

Don't forget to tune in for the Q&A - we'll be live streaming it on the Middlesex Students' Union Facebook page between 2.30 and 3.30pm on Monday 19 March.
