Society codes

All members of the society are expected to abide by our codes;

1. No hate will be tolerated, whether that is a joke or not. There’s a difference between banter and rudeness. If only one party is laughing, it is not funny. All Kpop groups are welcomed, and none are superior or under another. This is not just for the group chat. Posting inappropriate comments on social media sites as well.

2. Be inclusive and respectful to others and their feelings, this group is about coming together, not grouping us into smaller groups. All new members should feel like they belong. Coming into a big group of people without knowing anyone can be extremely daunting.

3. It costs absolutely nothing to be nice!

Codes should especially be followed;

- Under societies premises
- While a member is representing or acting on behalf of this society at any event of whatever kid or whatever held.

Where a complaint is made about a group activity, including socials, demonstrators, and activities that can be classed as organised by the society or in that groups name. The group member(s) may be subjected to disciplinary action. These codes are really important for promoting orderly relations as well as fairness and consistency. Actions may be taken in respect of any breach of codes.

Any questions about codes, please email the President and Vice President at K-popandculture@mdxsu.com, or to make a complaint about another member.
We will try our best to get back to you within 3 days.

Thank you.
