Our new Healthcare Community caters for Nursing and Midwifery students currently! We know studying a healthcare-related degree can be challenging, particularly with the frequency of placements, and we want to help! Working with your student representatives, we run various events and social activities for you to make friends and socialise with others on your course!
Within the School of Health and Education, we believe that gaining an understanding of other professionals' roles and skills in a shared learning context can benefit interprofessional team working in practice. We have students studying health, nursing, social work, midwifery, teacher training, allied health care, and integrative medicine courses and seek through our weekly Interprofessional Learning Symposia programme to provide a rich and deeper understanding of what different professionals have to offer within their respective sectors.
