Living in a different country to study can be a daunting experience. MDXSU are here to support all international students to feel at home. We can help meet your needs and make sure your concerns are heard, but also help you find new friends, or support any events you would like to put on that celebrate your culture. The International Students Community is open to any student without a British passport - whether you're EU, EEA or further afield!
This year, Erica Ramos, your Vice President Business & Law, is running a campaign for international students at Middlesex University – check out the information below to find out more and get involved!
Aims of the campaign:
To empower and support international students, by raising awareness about the barriers they face during their studies in the U.K., such as housing, visas, financial support, cultural barriers, etc.;
To educate students about the political side of the U.K., in particular about Brexit, as it is the current big debate and very close to (maybe) becoming a reality;
Increasing international students engagement with the Student’s Union and the NUS.
You can find out more about the campaign and get involved by emailing E.Ramos@mdx.ac.uk.
We'd love to hear from you! If you'd like to get involved or have any feedback, please get in touch with Adela Juhasova, International Students Intern, or Hannah Keating, Student Communities Development Coordinator.
