The Flitz are a four piece indie band based in north London, with catchy riffs and anthemic lyrics inspired by the likes of Oasis, The Courteeners, Catfish and the Bottlemen and DMA’s. (Dan Fishlock - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitarist, James Kerrison - Lead Guitarist, Ben Strong - Bassist, Mike Lees - Drummer/Percussionist)

MDX DJ, producer and animator Zachary earned his slot with a crowd-pleasing performance at the DJ Showcase in March - you might also have caught him at the Summer Shutdown taster set in the sun outside MDX House in April.

As well as playing clubnights and festivals internationally, you might recognise Yasser from his prime time slot on BBC's Asian Network, as well as shows on 1Extra.

Closing the night is our ACS takeover DJ, playing the best of bashment, soca and hip hop.

Silent Disco

Our disco igloo outside MDX House is home to three channels of silent disco goodness, as voted for by you in the Summer Shutdown Facebook event and on the MDXSU Instagram: 

• Channel 1: Cheesy classics and throwback anthems
• Channel 2: Indie, Rock and Alternative
• Channel 3: Hip hop, rnb and afrobeats
