The results of last week’s MDXSU Autumn Elections are in!
Overall, 111 candidates took part in these elections and contested for the 53 different positions available. Over 850 votes were cast across the elections.
There were 10 contested Student Voice Leader (SVL) elections. This meant that if the number of nominations received for SVL on any programme / year is equal or less than the number of positions available, then the SVLs who nominated themselves are automatically appointed. There were also a number of programmes not open for nominations this Autumn due to a high number of SVLs opting to continue in their roles. Successful SVLs will hear from our Student Voice team about training and what they need to do for this week. Any questions regarding Student Voice Leaders positions should be directed to studentvoice@mdx.ac.uk.
